PROJECTS

1. Personal Web Server: Developed a Web Server, which is an implementation of the HTTP protocol using Java. The Web Server can be used to host web pages on the pc and administer the web pages with ease. The Web Server can serve multiple clients.

2. Net Shop Keeping: Designed and implemented an online shop using Java, JDBC, Servlets and MS Access. When a customer (via WWW) accesses and orders the products listed on the dynamic web page, updates are made to maintain the consistent state of the database and the transaction log is automatically generated after the completion of the transaction.

3. Internet Messaging System: This project is an implementation of “Internet Meeting System” using c & c++. The main function of the system is to schedule and set up meetings. In this system, we had N users, each with a calendar. To schedule a meeting, the coordinator sends a request to all participants and decides the time slot to schedule the meeting based on the responses from all the participants. When time advances towards the scheduled time for the meeting, the meeting setup protocol sets up a chat session and facilitates the meeting to take place among the coordinator and participants.

4. Real Estate Management System: This project involved the design of database application for Real Estate Management. Oracle DBMS was used for the implementation of this database. This database could help in the day-to-day transactions of a fictitious Realty who will be using it. This database will keep track of the Properties, Customer, Properties’ Owners, Property Accounts and maintenance of those properties.

5. Session Initiation Protocol: Mobility Enhancement: Submitted a term Paper with the research emphasis on the Session Initiation Protocol; it’s features and its contribution towards the mobility enhancement in Mobile Environment.

6. Graduate Program Application: A Web Application that enables the dept to evaluate the applications submitted for the admission into the dept and monitor the progress of the students being admitted into the program until their graduation. The Application was implemented by using the Java Technology especially the Servlets, JSP, HTML and JDBC.

7. Image Processing: An Image Processing Application was implemented using Java Imaging Package and Swing to detect the edges of the image obtained through CTScan of a bone. The Image is processed through High Pass Filter and been processed using Frequency Analysis by Histogram Equalization.
