Hello!

We're less than 5 weeks away from finals! What does that mean for Circle K? We have 4 meetings left! We're jam packed with events this month, and I hope to see you at all of them! Here's what's going on!

are you interested in a chair position? We have two open!

Relay for Life Chair is in charge of this great one night event-you'll be coordinating the 3rd annual poker tournament, setting up door-to-door dates, and creating a committee that will help with fundraising and advertising. We've been the leading organization in fundraising for the last three years! You can help make this Relay for Life spectacular again!
Historian Chair is in charge of taking pictures for the events, creating a newsletter, and making a scrapbook for DCON-you can set up your own committee so that they can help you make this year's nontraditional scrapbook a success. We've already planned ideas, we just need your help now! ++all you have to do is fill out the attached form and have in interview with the exec. board. Applications are due no later than Thursday, November 12th! contact Laura at llord13@gmail.com for more information.

are you interested in an executive board position for the 2010-2011 term?
I have great news for you! While we will do elections in February 2010 for President, Admin. V.P, Service V.P, Treasurer, and Secretary...we have a great opportunity for you. Jessica Jones, our current secretary, is offering assistance in training for Secretary! If you are interested in what a secretary does, she's going to give you tips and hints so that you're ready for this position. Please contact her for more information: jessicajones61589@gmail.com. This position is demanding, so get the experience you can get while you can get it!

CASA Murder Mystery Party:
when: Friday, November 13th at 6:00PM
where: Caughlin Ranch House on Mayberry/McCarran-carpool will be at 5:45PM in front of the JCSU
why: We'll be helping CASA with this great event! We'll be helping with their parking and making sure that things run smoothly overall. Their murder mystery party is set for the 1600s-so wear a black shirt (preferably with a collar or turtle neck and khakis!) There are limited spots-so sign up fast!!

UNR Football Concessions-UNR v. Fresno State
when: Saturday, November 14th at 10AM
where: Mackay Stadium-enter through gate 2, next to Legacy Hall
why: This is our LAST concessions of the year! We've done great so far, so come out for the last home game! This is a huge fundraiser for us, as all of our tips go to PTP, UNICEF, and Star Light Foundation!
please be sure to wear your white polo, khaki pants and close-toed shoes.

UNR New Member Installation/Capital DCM
when: Sunday, November 15th at 9:30AM
where: Virginia City, NV. Carpool will be at 9:30AM at the JCSU Parking Lot
why: We'll be in Virginia City for our 3rd annual New Member Installation. We'll be helping restore some buildings in the historic Virginia City and then pinning all of the new members! Afterward, Macky will lead the November Capital DCM. Please dress in approproiate attire that you don't mind gettting dirty. Also, wear close-toed shoes!

TMCC Charter Banquet
when: Saturday, Nov. 21st at 6PM
where: WRB 1001 @ UNR
why: TMCC is offcially a part of Capital Division. They will be celebrating with their banquet and hosting their new member installation as well! Cost is $5, but the money is their fundraiser for the club! Support our newest sister club!

UNR End of Semester Social
when: Thursday, December 3rd at 7PM
where: JCSU Great Room (402)
why: As the last meeting of the year, we'll be doing a pot luck and holiday gathering! Don't miss out your chance to see Circle K'ers for the last time before finals start the next week!
