Course Description: This a survey course of principles that are useful for understanding water in the context of natural resources management issues. The text presents principles in a very descriptive way. The lectures, homeworks and tests will emphasize quantitative application as much as possible.
Class times: FA 253 Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00 AM-10:50 AM
Tests: Three preliminary tests. One final examination.
Projects: Group projects will consist of data analysis and development of a written report and oral presentation at the end of the semester.
Grading: Tests will count for 100 ponts, approximately one quarter of the grade. The final examination will count for approximately a quarter of the grade. Homeworks will count for approximately a quarter of the grade. Group projects will count for approximately a quarter of the grade.
